Job Description

- We have an exciting position opened up for a Head in our Data Analytics practice. The Head in our Data Analytics practice will serve as a technical liaison effectively working with data and configuration of different tools/applications in order to meet specific client objectives. Working jointly with our solution architects and business consultants, the Head in our Data Analytics will be responsible for the detailed consultation and implementation of the required data analytics functionalities. The successful individual will drive business and process improvements by leveraging data assets and packaging findings to be used by multiple internal audit functions.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Delivery :

- Assistance to all Data Analytics projects in India and Middle East.

Business Development :

- Define Go-To-Market for different Data Analytic Solutions (Pricing Analytics / Cost Element Analytics / Revenue Maximization / Cost Optimization etc.)

- Develop long lasting relationship with existing clients and acquire new clients.

Service Delivery :

- Liaise with Protiviti Offices worldwide for data analytics related work.

- Be single point of contact for all Managing Directors in India and Middle East for data analytics initiatives.

People Management :

- Manage India Data Analytics team.

- Develop a team of qualified data analytics professionals.

- Mentor team members on new technologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Desired Profile :

- 14+ years of experience in Data and Business Analytics in a direct client facing as well as Off-Shoring environment.

- Knowledge of Telecom/Banking/Oil and Gas domain preferred. Knowledge/familiarity with analytical tools like ACL/R /MS-Excel/SAS/SQL is preferred. Knowledge of Internal Audit and familiarity with Risk Advisory is desirable. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications is required. Must have ability to multi-task with excellent project management skills.

- Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment required. Able to work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.

- Well-honed ability to understand the client need for analytics and suggest appropriate analytical solution.

- Demonstrates a balanced mix of creative and analytical approach in a problem-solving environment.

- Able to identify opportunities for process improvements and initiatives.

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are required for this role. Should have advanced written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated mentoring and people development skills across all levels.

- Displays independence and integrity in decision making and business judgment. Is able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner and maintains professional demeanor at all times.

Ideal Background :

- Education (minimum/desirable) : Bachelors (minimum), Masters (desirable)

Languages : English

Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management

- 12+ years in delivery and or consulting

- MNC experience in consulting / delivery preferred

Travel : Should be open to domestic and international travel
