▪Minimum 1-2 year of experience on the same level from a reputed Hotel
▪Great communication skills
▪An overall knowledge of Sales and Marketing required
▪MBA preferred with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets
Job Description (What is expected from you!):
An Assistant Sales Manager (Corporate) is expected to assist the Sales Manager in managing and coordinating all efforts of the Sales & Marketing operations, to ensure efficient, prompt, courteous, consistent quality and proactive service for all the guests.
1. You should be aware of local market competition, to monitor trends within the industry and make suggestions how these could be implemented in the hotel
2. It would be required fro you to pass on all complaints/comments received from customers/clients regarding the hotel, hotel services, etc. to the Sales Manager
3. An Assistant Sales Manager is required to maintain and exceed the hotel’s revenue goals within the allocated market segments
4. You would be expected to aggressively sell the hotel through telemarketing and face-to-face sales calls to tap into new accounts and new contacts
5. Your role will also require you to negotiate contracts with clients and to ensure that all necessary paperwork is in place prior to clients’ placing business
6. To maintain an efficient sales office procedure and to ensure the regular maintenance of an accurate and updated accounts/contacts database and follow-up procedures
7. To attend trade shows and exhibitions locally and internationally when requested
8. To maintain confidentiality of the information directly related to the hotel’s activities and to not divulge such information outside the hotel
Any other duty as and when assigned by the Sales Manager.
